The pioneering company has always been in the forefront of innovation, enhancing its high-end, ‘Made in Germany’ speech processing solutions since the birth of the Stenorette over fifty years ago – the first Grundig dictation machine on the market.  For example, Grundig’s Steno-Cassette 30 became the German industry (DIN) standard in 1983. As part of the consortium project of the International Voice Association Grundig was also responsible for developing the .dss digital speech standard in 1995.

Grundig Business Systems’ range of products is largely targeted at professional users, like doctors in hospitals who have a regular dictation need. The company’s performance portfolio offers analogue and digital dictation and transcription devices, as well as accessories and dictation management software solutions. The digital Digta range includes devices for mobile and desktop dictation – from the flexible voice recorder via ergonomically styled portable dictation machines to its USB dictation microphone – as well as digital transcription solutions and a broad selection of accessories. The range was expanded to include optional plug-in modules including the barcode reader and the RFID scanner, helping to further automate and optimise processes

The DigtaSoft software range enables secure and efficient dictation and workflow management. It can be deployed on a standalone PC as well as across local and international network areas, and it may easily be integrated into existing IT infrastructures. With its Steno and Micro product range Grundig Business Systems will also continue to provide high quality analogue dictation devices, transcription stations and their accessories.

With more than four million dictation systems sold Grundig Business Systems is a global manufacturing force. Hardware and software solutions are designed and developed in Bayreuth and Nueremberg in Bavaria, Germany.  Products are sold and distributed via a worldwide partner network. The company has partnered with two distributors, A-R Business Machines Inc. and New World Creation, to fill orders placed by U.S. companies, providing faster fulfillment and delivery of orders and more localized customer service.
