Philips ranks No. 1 in overall service performance in Ultrasound All Systems 2008 IMV ServiceTrak(TM) reports

Results mark 16th consecutive year for top performance in ultrasound

ANDOVER, MA, USA - (HealthTech Wire/ News) - Royal Philips Electronics (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHI) announced today that customers have again rated Philips Healthcare No. 1 in overall service performance for Ultrasound All Systems, comprising Radiology/OB-Gyn and Cardiology instruments, in the annual IMV ServiceTrak™ surveys.  The results of the 2008 IMV analysis also show Philips earning a No. 1 ranking in overall manufacturer satisfaction and a No. 1 ranking for probability of repurchase for ultrasound.

In an independent survey by IMV Limited, customers were asked to rate ultrasound systems manufacturers on a broad range of factors across the product ownership lifecycle.   For the Ultrasound All Systems report, Philips received top marks in 26 of 34 categories measured in the study, including those of service engineer performance, satisfaction with service and manufacturer, help desk telephone support and probability of repurchase.
