Amerinet awards Fujifilm single- source FFDM contract

STAMFORD, CT, USA - (HealthTech Wire / News) - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc., the world leader in digital x-ray, announced today that Amerinet, one of the leading healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the United States, has awarded the company a Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) contract for their CR-based digital mammography systems. In addition, Fujifilm and Amerinet are extending a limited time TargetBuy offer, which includes enhanced pricing for Amerinet members purchasing Fujifilm’s full line of cassette-based CR systems, high-throughput DR systems, and Fujifilm’s FFDM solutions.

Fujifilm’s CR-based FFDM systems have been added to the existing digital x-ray contract that will remain in place with Amerinet through December 31, 2009. Under the terms of this contract Amerinet members have access to Fujifilm’s entire line of Fuji Computed Radiography (FCR) and Fuji Digital Radiography (FDR) products, as well as enhanced pricing on Fujifilm’s FFDM solution. Fujifilm offers members a comprehensive digital x-ray product line meeting the requirements of nearly any imaging application.

The TargetBuy, which began September 2, 2008, adds further value to the Amerinet membership by providing customers with additional savings. The TargetBuy will run through December 31, 2008.
