ExtraMed appoints Keith Nicholson as managing director

GRANGEMOUTH , UK - (HealthTech Wire) - ExtraMed Limited, the leading UK patient flow management company, is pleased to announce Dr Keith Nicholson has joined the company’s management team as Managing Director.
ExtraMed has developed a suite of interlinked patient flow management products that have been designed to dramatically improve hospital performance. The Company’s two main products are Beds, a bed management solution, and ED Whiteboard, an emergency department patient flow electronic whiteboard that lets staff easily see what is happening across the emergency department at any single moment.
Currently, over a dozen hospitals and PCTs are using ExtraMed’s solutions across the UK, including Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Bedford Acute Trust and University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
Keith Nicholson joins ExtraMed from Sumerian Europe Ltd where he was Director of Consulting. He is a leading professional in eBusiness and information management systems having been a winning medalist in the IT Director of the Year Awards and a director in several companies. Keith has also served as a professor at universities in New Zealand, Japan, Denmark and Scotland.
Keith will be based out of the company’s Grangemouth office, the company having offices in both England and Scotland.
